Okay friends, since I have yet to reach
my second financial deadline of $6500 that is due one week from
today, I thought I would give a financial update. As of right now, I
am about $1500 away from reaching this goal. ($1517 to be exact!) And
I have ONE WEEK to see this money come in.
So that may seem like a huge number,
but I want to share something with you. Less than a week ago I was
$2700 away from this goal. So in less than a week, the Lord provided
about $1200. Praise Him for His faithfulness and provision!
I could be stressed about reaching this
deadline (and I have been at times) but the thing is I know that this
is where the Lord has called me to be and I know that He is the God
who provides, so I will trust Him in that.
But since I have a week to see this
money come in and it is August 11th, I wanted to try a fun
little fundraiser that I have seen people do in the past. Give $11 on
the 11th for 11 countries in 11 months. Easy enough right?
To put that into perspective, $11 is
two drinks at Starbucks or a meal out. It can buy you a ticket to the
movie theater. OR it could go towards supporting a future missionary!
A lot of times people think that what
they have to give is too small, but that’s not true. Every single
dollar in my account leads me one step closer to bringing Christ’s
name, His hope, His love, and His healing to the nations.
EVERY. SINGLE. DOLLAR.
No gift is too small! If 100 people
gave just $11 today, that would give me another $1100 in my account
and put me SO close to reaching my goal.
If 140 people gave $11 I would be AT my
goal!
