A big thank you to everyone who came out to the volleyball
tournament this past weekend – whether you were playing, watching, encouraging
– I truly am thankful that you were there! I was overwhelmed by the response of
people willing to spend their Saturday in support of my trip. At one point, I
took a step back and was able to see the day as “the big picture.” That is
exactly what community is supposed to look like! A group of people enjoying
each other’s company … no boundaries of age, gender, skill level. As believers
we are called to, “Lay down our life for each other.” Saturday was that for me,
I was able to see how much I am cared for, loved and valued in this community.
So thank you for being a part of my life journey … each one of you.
