Hi everyone! My name is Jill Schulenberg. I am 23 years old and will be graduating from Portland State University in August with a B.S. in General Science. Some of my favorite things in life are hanging out with the people I love, outdoor adventures like hiking, backpacking, jumping into ice-cold mountain lakes or waterfalls, cooking and baking delicious treats, and worshipping Jesus, be it with piano, guitar, or plain old singing! I also like to pretend I'm still a kid at times… 🙂
I was home-schooled all the way through my high school graduation and loved the community that I grew up in. In many ways, that experience has shaped who I am today. Yet at the same time, God has re-shaped me tremendously over the last few years, a process that has taken me through moments of overwhelming joy as well as heartwrenching pain. More and more I see that my identity is in Him, and that He has an incredible calling and vision for my life (as He does for each one of us)! That calling is way bigger than I will ever be able to live up to in my own strength. But as He continues to transform me and make me into who He wants me to be, the possibilities are endless!
