WE DID IT!!!
As of today…I am officially a fully funded participant of the World Race! WOOOOHOOOO!
I don’t know how to adequately express my thanks and my excitement.
It is crazy to think that in just seven short months, God was able to provide, through many of you, all of the money necessary for me to go out into the world and proclaim His truth. It seems like not that long ago that I was writing a blog about a wave labeled with $15,500 that was just too big for me to take on (“Pictionary with God”). Just goes to show that nothing is too big for my God. What’s a sum of money to the creator of the universe? It was definitely a test of faith, but what a way to learn that if God calls us to something, He will always equip us with that which we need to accomplish the task He has set before us.

God. He is and always will be the first that I am thankful to and for. I could not have raised this money without His blessings and provision. I truly believe that ultimately, every dollar came from Him. So may all glory be to God that I was able to raise the necessary amount, and may I be a good steward of the money that ultimately belongs to Him who is sending me.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. –Philippians 4:19

Each donation has meant so much to me, not because of the amount given, but because I can look at the list of those who gave and know that every donation came straight from the heart. Whether you just love God or you are friends with me or hopefully both, you decided to bless me and bless this mission, and I can’t stop telling you how grateful I am for that. The anonymous donors. You get a special/additional thank you. Normally when I would get a donation I’d send a thank you to that person – but you people are tricky! No way of sending an appreciative note to an unidentified person. The mystery surrounding you drives me crazy sometimes! But more than anything, you have taught me a HUGE lesson in being humble and giving for the right reasons. You have given so generously, totaling over $1,300 in support, and yet you will gain no earthly recognition. I hope you know, though, that I am thankful for you and your sacrifice, and as I wrote to my other donors, I am SO excited that you decided to join me in furthering the Kingdom of God here on Earth. It gives me hope and puts a smile on my face. Thank you!
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:3-4

Partner with me in prayer. As important as money is, I’m more interested in the prayers of my friends and families (and even strangers!) back home. Money comes and goes, but God is constant, and when we ask with faith for good things in His name, He will provide. As we fight for the Kingdom of God, we are naturally going to be met with opposition. Any and all prayers for my team and the people we will meet along the way are very much appreciated. Support my teammates or squadmates. God’s timing and provision works differently for every person. So although I am fully funded, many of my teammates and squadmates are not! In order to stay on the field all eleven months, they must be funded by certain deadlines. Please check out their profiles and prayerfully consider whether God may be calling you to support any of their financial needs for this mission.
- Help cover additional costs. Even though I am fully funded for the Race, the money that was raised does not cover all of the expenses incurred from preparation prior to leaving the country. If you feel that God is still placing it on your heart to give to me specifically, I am still eligible to be reimbursed up to $1,500 for the costs of my flight to launch, immunizations, and travel insurance. To help with these additional expenses, you can continue to send in donations through AIM.
Can I just say one more time that for all of you who have partnered with me, be it financially or through prayer, I am just so thankful for you. Know that I consider you to be a part of all that I’m doing to bring glory to God these eleven months. Every day, I carry you with me. So much love in my heart for each of you!
