I’ve been on my final traininng in Atlanta for the past four days. I’ve said many hard good bye’s and see you laters. I’ve been blessed by the fact that my parents and Brenda were able to come to launch with me and experience part of this amazing journey with me! Saying good bye to them was really hard, but God prepared their hearts and mine.
These past few days here at my launch training have been so amazing! I thank God for chosing me to go on this juourney with Him. See, God doesn’t need us to go and evangelize around the world, He doesn’t need us to go and share His love because He can do it Himself. BUT… He invited me on this journey with Him!! He invited me to come along with Him, He chose me because He wants to do it with me! How special I’m I?!!
I hope I am making sense on what I’m trying to write. I’m saying this because it is literally 3:30 AM here in Atlanta as I’m writing this. AND… I’m writing this little blog or what’s on my mind as I sit here on the airport!!
Drumb roll please!!!…… We are in the airport getting ready to board on a plane that will take us to our first ministry country, which will be the Dominican Republic!! How exciting is this! This month my team and I will be working on a ministry called HOPE and they are located in a city named Lajas in the DR. We’ll be doing some construction work, some ministry with children, ministering to the long term missionaries that are there and ecouraging them to continue working with so much love for God’s kingdom!
See… I am so very excited to be at this point of my life, on this new season of my life! And I am here because God chose me, and I am here because of your love and support! I thank you all for your love and support!
I am ready for what God has in store for us in the DR, I am ready for wht the Lord wants to continue to do in my life! I am an official World Racer! I am ready to get going and start this crazy, yet amazing journey with the Lord!
