Hello world! As most of you know, next year I am going on this mission trip called the “World Race Gap Year.” Many of you might have some questions about this journey, so I thought I would do a short Q&A.

What countries will you be going to?

As of now, I will be going to Ecuador, Zambia, Malawi, Nepal, and India. However, due to the changing conditions of countries, this route could be altered.

How long will you be gone?

Starting September 7th or 8th, I will be gone for 9 months. I will not return home till after the nine months.

Will I be able to visit you?

Sadly, no. However, there is a parent week for only parents to come. In means of communication, I would love to FaceTime you or call you.

What will you be bringing?

I will be bringing an internal frame backpack and a normal sized backpack. These backpacks will be filled with everything from a pillow to a tent to long skirts.

What will you be doing?

As I of now, I am not completely sure. I know that I will be serving God through loving on his people and that is all that matters to me. When it gets closer to launch time, I will have a better idea of what I will be doing.

Will you be going with a group?

Yes! My squad is currently around 20-25 people right now. It includes both boys and girls. They are from all around the U.S.A. and Canada. I will also have squad leaders, but I have yet to meet them.

Is there a training camp?

Yes! In July, I will go to a training camp for around 10 days. My squad will be there as well so I will get to meet them and bond before the actual trip.

Are you selling shirts?

I will be making tshirts! I am not selling them for profit, but if you like one, comment below and I will get you the information on how to buy one!

Will you be safe?

Yes and no. The World Race does their best to keep us safe and secure at all times; however, they can not control everything.
