Hey there!! My name is Jessie, though most people call me Jess. I am on my 4th adventure with Adventures in Missions! (ironic right). Three years ago I got the opportunity to serve with AIM’s passport program to Thailand and Cambodia. The Lord wrecked my heart for those around me and pursued me with a love I had never truly experienced before. After living life on mission for three months, I knew I wasn’t done. The next year I pursued the Lord with AIM by going on World Race Gap Year. It was 9 months of Jesus! Nine months of intimacy. Nine months of adventure. and nine months learning about how God intended real/ authentic community to work. I wanted to take all that I had learned on the field and use it at home in the good ole USA. So once again I decided to partner with Adventures in Missions through a program called Center for Global Action. CGA is a leadership/discipleship program that grows and builds leaders in this generation. It’s a great program and through it I learned the authority I carry in Jesus and that to lead others I need to be able to lead myself and grow in intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Jesus has done some crazy things in me over the past few years and I hope to continue to grow with God and walk with Him daily. Here are a few other things you may want to know: my favorite color is yellow and I absolutely love Donuts. (preferably the sprinkled kind).
