Its about to get CRAZY! At training camp I was informed who I would be spending my 11 months with while on The World Race, and lets just say, I couldn't be happier! I am going to be spending most of my trip with 5 of the greatest girls I've ever met.
Let me just explain how this works before I introduce you to my team… I belong to a squad (M SQUAD) of about 55 people who are all going to the same countries as I am. Since there are so many of us, they split us up into smaller groups. And that's how I got the opportunity to serve with these 5 amazing girls that make up a team called, "Team Bella La Guerrera " which means Beautiful Warrior.

Ciera Nelson. She is 22 years old and has 3 sisters which one of whom is her twin! She just recently graduated from Physical Therapy Assistant School. In her free time she enjoys riding bikes. She also is an amazing artist. She has been painting pictures and selling them to raise financial support for The World Race. This is Brette Fischer. She is 22 years old. She has one brother, one sister, and one step brother. She will be graduating from Michigan State this December with a degree in Sociology. She loves reading Harry Potter books over and over again and also enjoys listening to all types of music. She really loves getting tattoos and piercings and making people laugh! This is Kristy Paruk. She is 22 years old and has graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Psychology. She loves serving the Lord in different ministries. She serves in a ministry at her church called ,"Stephens Ministry", which is Christian counseling. Also, God worked through her to start a prison ministry at her church. She loves music and getting tattoos! FUN FACT: something cool about Kristy and I is that 2 years ago we both went on a missions trip to Seattle, Washington to serve there for a month with the homeless, and inside prisons. We met each other for the first time there and now God brought us together to serve all around the world! It's crazy how things work out! This is Stacy Richard. She is 28 years old and is from Canada! She is a dental hygienist and has worked very hard to be where she is today. She has one brother who is married. She enjoys being outside and traveling and seeing different cultures. She loves have long conversations with friends. Stacey has taken on the responsibility of being financially in charge of all our money while in different countries. There couldn't have been a better person to do this job! This is Danae Englund. She is 22 years old and was chosen to be the leader of our team! She exudes everything that a leader is and as a team we are excited to follow her! She has 3 older half siblings and 1 younger sister. She is very close with her entire family especially her sister. Even though her sister is younger than her, she still looks up to her and the person that she is. She likes most kind of music, even Hawaiian music. This is my Team! I don't know how I was lucky enough to be placed on a team like this but I was. Please pray for my team and I was we prepare to leave in January. Pray that we start preparing our hearts, take care of what needs to be done before we leave, and pray that we raise enough money so we all can leave together. Thanks everyone!
