Hi, friends!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Chances are, you are here because you already know who I am. In the case that you don't..(YES!! I love meeting new people), let me tell you a little bit about myself! But first I need to make a confession. I have been dreading writing this post for the past three weeks and may or may not have surfed the internet for countless hours trying to find a good "about me" questionnaire. Unfortunately, I was fairly  unsuccessful. (Unless, of course, you're interested in knowing what my favorite lunch meat is or my celebrity crush, in which case I would answer smoked turkey and Ryan Gosling. Just kidding!)

Anyway. Here are some of the basics:

  • I am 22 years old.
  • I am the second oldest of 5. I love my brothers and sisters so much. My house can be pretty chaotic at times…in a good way, of course. (More about them later)
  • My parents are the most loving people in my life.
  • I have an incredibly wonderful extended family. I love them all and wish I could see them all more.
  • I also have incredibly wonderful friends. They feel alot more like family, actually. Praise God for all the people that He has placed in my life!!
  • I love kids.
  • I love being outside.
  • I love traveling, adventure, new places, different cultures.
  • I like running (notice the jump from love to like, here)
  • I love to listen. Some people call it "quiet", but I really just love to listen. If you need to vent, I'm your girl!
  • I have a sweet little dog named Leo. Unfortunately for him, I am a total cat person. He doesn't quite get the same level of love and affection from me as he does the rest of my family. (I'd secretly do anything for him!! But I'd never let on.

Most importantly, I'm saved by the grace of a loving God and want nothing more than for everyone else in this world to experience this love that is waiting for them. I'm messy and imperfect and know that I can do nothing of any worth on my own. I desire to die to myself daily and be a vessel of our living God  to bring eternal life to a dying world.
