Over the last several days, we have been poured into with a lot of spiritual, practical, and relational knowledge by experienced January World Racers and some incredible men of God.
We have been encouraged to walk in our inheritance as sons and daughters of the King.
God has a kingdom that is present and coming.
As His sons and daughters, that kingdom is our inheritance.
In receiving an inheritance we have a responsibility to be good stewards of what the Lord has given us.
He has given all of us different gifts, talents, strengths, etc…
As we learn to receive those gifts and bless others with them we begin to take hold of the title “sons & daughters.”
Over the next 11 months I have the opportunity to intentionally develop the gifts He has poured into my life.
As His son or daughter, we all have the same responsibility whether we are traveling the world in the mission field abroad or in the mission field at home.
Our inheritance is not meant to be stored up for ourselves.
It is meant to be given freely to those who desire to live in the inheritance of the kingdom of God.
This week we have been trying to come up with a team name for 8 very dominant, powerful women.
Before our training sessions this week the name Daughters of Zion was suggested in the beginning; however, many of us were reluctant because we felt like the “daughters” term was too girly not reflecting our personalities.
Needless to say after the lessons learned this week we realized that being Daughters of Zion means walking in our inheritance bringing life to those who have no hope.
We are warriors coming to proclaim the truth.
(We are also known as D.O.Z. to satisfy those of us with a girly complex!)
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you.
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
And the horse from Jerusalem;
The battle bow shall be cutt off.
He shall peak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.”
