I can’t believe it has already been two months since my first blog post, and it is less than another two months until I leave on this crazy mission adventure!
As soon as I was accepted for my World Race route I knew I had to start fundraising as quickly as possible since I was coming onto the team a little late, and I have been just overwhelmed with the favor God has shown so far! Two months in and I am almost 50% funded, another two months to go and I could be fully funded before I even leave, God is so good!!!
I have been continually reminded through this time that stepping out just the smallest bit in faith releases so many God blessings on our lives and it doesn’t matter how large the step or how many, just that we step out. I took quite a small step of faith and have been amazed at how God has responded. And I have been blessed to have so many people come alongside me and support and give whatever help they can to help me reach my fundraising goals. The best part about fundraising is that so many other people get to share in the stories/testimonies and blessings that come from a missions trip : )
I have so much yet to accomplish and get done before we leave the first week of January, being away for a year is not an easy thing to plan for! Please continue to keep me (and my team!) in your prayers. Prayers for a continued peace about provision and funding, for wisdom about how to order my days so I get everything accomplished in the time it needs to before I leave, and that He would continue building a joy and excitement within me for what the year ahead will hold.
Also for unity within my team. We have started our video training through Google Hangouts and are finally starting to meet each other!! We will be coming from all over the US, and from Korea and the UK with different backgrounds and personalities but united with a common purpose of serving the nations and ministering to people in the name of Jesus. We will truly be a family to each other!!
