Chibuto, Mozambique
Once upon a time in a village far, far away lived a rooster named Rudy. Every morning, much too early for the missionary folk to awake, Rudy the Rooster would crow and crow. Every day when the missionary team would start their work, they would chase Rudy around trying to catch him and put an end to his disruptive behavior.
One tragic day, a friend of the missionaries caught little Rudy. He tied his feet up to a rope and let the girls take turns posing for photos. Moments later, Rudy was laid over a brick and the missionaries’ friend sawed his head off with a sharp knife.
That evening, the missionaries ate poor Rudy for dinner.
