I have absolutely loved being in The Philippines. Awesome hosts, great food, and so many different ministry opportunities. This was the first month that I really got to do hands on work which was a nice change.
We went to the local recycling center a few times where we would crush plastic bottles and pack them away into bags so they could later be taken away.
Our hosts told us that one of the people we would be helping out was the person that had picked us up when we arrived. He had been swindled out of his house and since then he had been helped to build a new home for him and his family. They would work on it bit by bit as resources became available. At this point they were ready for the walls to be painted, so over the course of the next few days, that’s what we did!
