We had just been watching Holes a couple of days earlier. I still hadn’t fully appreciated how much work it actually takes to dig up dirt. No digging 5 by 5s though. We were digging to level out the ground.
The church that we attended while we were here in the Philippines is called Gospel Life Community: Church Without Walls. Their primary focus is giving back to the community. So even though they use the building for church on Sundays, they primarily want for it to be a location that is of use to the community around them. It is also being used as a preschool on weekdays. And they want to level out the ground to make an area where people can hold events.
Well, we only have a couple of more days left in Asia! This time next week we will begin our last leg of the Race, starting in Argentina.
