Hello everyone,
My name is Jessica Norton, I am 20 years old and am a college student currently finishing up my last semester of school and will graduate with my associate degree in May. I live in Franklin, a small town in the mountains of western North Carolina. I have two sisters, Paige and Katie and have a very close and special relationship with my entire family.
I was born and raised going to church and have been worshiping God from a young age, I feel very blessed to have had so many leaders in my life who have guided me in my relationship with Christ and prepared me for this next step I am about to take. From a young age I have felt a calling for missions and after being given the opportunity for many years to participate in multiple missions activates I know that the world race is the next step for me. I have struggled with stepping out of my comfort zone as I am very much an introverted person and I know that there will be many struggles and challenges along this journey, But I know that this is the direction that the lord is leading me in.
I am very excited for this journey and can’t wait to see all that God will do in my life and the lives of others throughout the next eleven months. Please join me in prayer as myself and others prepare for this journey. Pray that the lords will would be done and that we may be able to be a servant in any way possible for him. Pray that my relationship with the lord grows stronger and deeper throughout this and pray for my family who will all be going through this process with me!
