Hello! I been in Panama for a week now. We been doing a wide  of ministry here including; teaching english, projects at the churches (painting, hammering, shoveling rocks), teaching sign language, building a nativity scene out of drift wood. we will also be coming up with a skit for a Christmas party at the school, painting a mural, doing community classes to invite people, a prayer walk. All sorts of fun stuff! I feel like I been here longer than a week.

I been thinking a lot about my grandma. She‘s been gone for 12 years and I still miss her deeply- heck she said I was her favorite granddaughter! (I was her only granddaughter at the time.) 🙂 I wonder how she would’ve felt about me being on the World Race.

I remember sitting at the breakfast table at grandmas table she would say “When God said let there be light,” then she would switch the light switch on and she “there was light and God saw that the light was good.” Same with the darkness.

She would always make sure tyler (my cousin) and I were in church – we would try to hide after Sunday School but if grandma found us then we were going to church! I thank Grandma for being a part of building a foundation of knowing Christ in my childhood.

I am learning so much more about the Bible and meanings now and just what it’s like to have Christ in my life in just the past two and half months that I just wish with being older I could talk to her and see what her input was about the Bible and what it might’ve meant to her. I love you more than you love me!
