hello! Well a lot has happened since I last posted but here it is short and sweet! At the end of last month PVT happened. parent vision trip and I was able to have my mom and dad here with me for 5 days!!! It was really cool and very busy. We got to teach them and lead worship. We got to do ministry doing prayer walks in Red District, kids ministry in the slums and monk visits. So cool. Then for fun we got to go play with elephants and feed/bathe them!!! It was so cool to see my parents and it made it seem like the past 8 months wasn’t that long!
We had our month 8 debrief in which we had team changes again. My new team is Team Present.
I now have Elyssa, Tessa, Becks and TL. I on a team with Tessa but new with the other three! We just made it today in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We are into month 9. This month is our ATL month- that means no host, ministry, lodging or anything is planned. We are just to ask the Lord and figure out what He wants us to do this month. It will be a new adventures but excited to see where it take so is this month.
other than that i just think it’s so cool that I had spent my 25th birthday in Ethiopia and now on the 8th I’ll be spending my 27th birthday in Cambodia! Never in my life did I think I would be traveling or even a being missionary but I’m enjoying this so much and excited for this new team I’m on. So far I have fallen in love with Cambodia and being in the city!
