Hello! Welcome to my blog!! I have never had a blog before but I am excited to share about the World Race experience with you.
I am so excited to be called to join in the World Race come October! A little bit about me, I am deaf. I like to throw that out there right away because that is a huge part of who I am. I am originally from Wyoming. I love to be outside riding my bicycle and feeding on this love/hate relationship I have for running. I have ran 4 half marathons so far and signed up for a couple more this year.
I went on my first short-term mission trip to Ethiopia in June of 2016 – that trip caused me to create such a new lively relationship with God. I’ve never felt as close to Him as I have since having gone to Ethiopia. I fell in love with the place, people so full of love and thirst for God’s love. I heard about the World Race from a friend in Ethiopia I met and now here I am!
Where this is excitement, I am also nervous for this trip. I know that it’s part of God’s calling. Ever since Ethiopia I have such a new look on life. Life is more than having the best of everything, it’s about filling your life with Jesus and sharing it with others.
