God has been speaking to me through a song called “Good, Good Father” by Housefires. The chorus is really simple and so profound in establishing both God’s and our identities as His children:

You’re a good, good father
It’s who you are,
It’s who you are,
It’s who you are

And I’m loved by you
It’s who I am,
It’s who I am,
It’s who I am

I have been listening to different versions of this song on repeat and God has been reminding me of what truly matters in each day. He is affirming the foundation of my faith, which is His goodness. He has also been giving me the verses in Matthew 7:9-11:

What man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

The process of fundraising necessitates my faith and trust in God to rise significantly. He has been comforting me in showing me how much He loves His children and how inherently good He is.
