11/25 Update: All of the boxes in my Adopt-A-Box fundraiser have been filled, bringing me to my first goal of $5050!! The chart looks so complete (see below)! I am absolutely humbled by this entire process. An enormous thank you to everyone who has been a part of financially and prayerfully supporting me. Words aren’t enough! THANK YOU 😀
11/4 Update: It has been a month since my last Adopt-A-Box update, and now there are only 21 boxes left to fill! Last week, I received my largest donation of $750. I am blown away by everyone’s support and generosity.
While at training camp, God gave me a vision of myself with one foot placed on shore and one foot placed in a boat. He gave me the sense that, up until that point, I had been wavering about the decision to go on this trip or not. Even though I was taking the necessary steps, I was still unsure of the decision. Since then, I have decided to “jump in the boat” by contributing a portion of my own savings into this mission. I want everyone to know that I believe in this mission enough to donate money to it as well. Thanks again for everything you have done to make this possible. Updated chart below.
10/5 Update: More gifts are coming in and I continue to be feel so loved and supported. I received a donation from the church I attend, River Valley Church, which has inspired me throughout the last few years to give to missions and to be a “world changer”. Pastor Rob’s sermon on The Great Commission was one that spurred my vision to join The World Race. You can view it here.
9/25 Update: An anonymous donor gave $100! I am so blessed. Thank you so much. It reminded me of the verses in Matthew 6: “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Updated chart below.

Hi Supporters! I’m starting a new fundraiser called Adopt-A-Box for a simple way you can donate. Pick a number or multiple numbers and donate that amount. It could be your favorite number, a significant date, your birthday, or jersey number. Whatever number strikes you! I would love to hear the reason why you chose those numbers.
