We went to their village–in a small valley surrounded by forests.
We slept in tents inside a red-brick house. We had no electricity.
We squatted and showered under the stars.
We ate sugarcane and coconut.
We met their families.
We worshiped and dance with all the kids in the village.
We learned words and phrases in their language.
We dressed up like princesses and visited the school.
We hosted a Christmas clothing give-a-way.
We led a Christmas service at the church, and we enjoyed true village life for Christmas!!
