It’s been an incredible month of ministry!!
While we were limited to what we could say due to the culture and legality within this country, God showed off!!
The days were filled with visiting homes to share and encourage people. Each visit usually ended with a meal or dessert, so we never went hungry. But while they fed us physically, we fed them spiritually.
Almost all of us were giving a devotion or small sermon each day, many of us at the same location to the same people. I came prepared to share something every time, but oftentimes God gave me a message as we walked or drove to the house. The amazing part: without planning with each other, our messages always fit together! As we heard their testimonies, we understood why God gave us this specific message for them.
While I can’t share about any major healings, we know that seeds were planted and lives were touched!!
Hearing all the testimonies of the natives and their faith in the Lord was definitely a faith-booster for me!! And to see God give us all similar messages separately for a certain person was a confirmation that we are hearing God correctly and we NEED to share when we feel lead to!!
We had the opportunity to share a sermon at church, to lead children’s church each Sunday and love on the people! We had the opportunity to drive to Eastern India to visit an orphanage and buy supplies for orphans/children with HIV. It was a humbling experience! And I’ve learned that Eastern India is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
We have been blessed so richly from the people here! I’m leaving with so many Indian outfits, only two that I purchased myself!! And I’m leaving with many new friends and an abundance of fun memories!!
God is good!!
