Last week was one of the best weeks of the race! It was Parent Vision Trip, which is a week for our parents come to the field to do ministry with us for a week.
I haven’t seen my Mom and Dad in seven months! They flew to Rwanda and we worked with many of the other parents and local pastors in Rwanda. We worked in a community called Musansa, right outside of Kigali. We parternered with Pastor Moses and helped him dig a road to control water runoff in his village. We also got to participate in local and home church services and experience some cultural shows that Rwanda has to offer.
It was such a great week to reconnect with my parents and have them see the “World Race Life”. We got a generous donation from a church back home to buy Bibles for another Pastor in the community, Pastor Fred, and got to ride around the city getting the money in cash and going to the Bible store. Today, they are flying back to the USA! Have a safe flight home, Mom and Dad, and I love you and will see you in 4 months!
