How much does The World Race cost?

$14,800

Where does the money go?

Training Camp (2%)

Field Support (4%)

World Race Development Program (12%)

Administration Fees (17%)

World Racer – ME (65%)

My 65% covers the following:

– $4,235 for our intercontinental travel for the year

– $460 per month, broken down as:

$3.75/day – food

$5.25/day – lodging

$3.00/day – local transportation

$3.33/day – long distance travel, miscellaneous, and supplies

*These numbers are based on a World Race trip costing $15,500, but the percentages and financial breakdown is roughly the same*

How much money has been raised so far?

Thanks to my wonderful supporters,

there has been $11,350 raised so far!

This includes money in my support account and monthly pledges!

How much money do you still need?

I still need to raise $3,450!

What is a monthly pledge? Can I still be a monthly donor?

A monthly pledge is an amount that you commit to give to my mission each month. The cool thing about being a monthly donor is that I get to count the whole amount that will be given from now until the end.

i.e. $20/month from now until the end of my trip means …

20(dollars) x 6(months) = $120 closer to being FULLY FUNDED!

So yes, you can still sign up to be a monthly donor. Just message me to let me know how much you will be giving and for how many months so I can update my account to reflect the whole amount you will be giving!

When is the FINAL deadline?

February 1st…

(21 DAYS!!!)

What happens if you don’t raise the money?

If I don’t raise the rest of the money, I am going home early.

This is so real, just like in real life, if the money isn’t there you can’t spend it. We don’t have credit accounts we can draw from, we have to have the money available or have a definite commitment that it will be coming in (i.e. monthly pledges), because without the money we can’t continue. I have been called to this trip for ELEVEN months and it would be heartbreaking to have to leave before I complete this mission. I feel like everything is just starting, not to say I have been sitting by doing nothing the past five months, but I have just recently began walking in true freedom. I have been learning how to die to myself and serve others well. I have been learning to honor others above myself, and with that I have been learning how to be the woman God has called me to be. I can’t end this trip right when I am getting into the good part, the part where God will be doing some really cool things in and through me. I promise, that time is happening right now, and will continue. I still have people to minister to in Cambodia, Malaysia, China, and Eastern Europe … I’m not ready to go home. I need your help!

Can I see what my money is going towards?

Yes. Here is just a glimpse of the ministries you are a part of:

(Playing soccer with the kids in Thailand)

(Teaching preschoolers and adults English in Rwanda)

(Loving on the kids at a Crusade in Uganda)

(Providing shoes for abandoned children in Kenya suffering with jiggers)

(Bringing a smile to the children at a Children’s Home in the Philippines)

(Serving food to families in the Philippines who may have not eaten a hot meal in days)

(Teaching LOTS and LOTS of Thai children English at school)

And this is only a small glance at all the ministries you are helping when you donate to my World Race trip.
