God is faithful as He promised us He would be. He brought 44 Y Squad Members to Launch, and at the final deadline He provided (through anonymous donors) thousands of dollars to get all 44 of us to the finish line of the race we officially began in August. He has a plan for Y Squad as a whole! We didn’t begin this journey alone. We had two of the most amazing squad leaders to steer us through our awkward newbie Racer phase and to provide us a solid example of a Godly man and a Godly woman. They showed us how to choose vulnerability and how to live in community. They fought for us and now it’s our turn to fight for them…
We are one month from our Month 8 Debrief, and Lucas Tillman is in need of $1,000 to make it back on the field with Sarah Schrack!
Seriously, this man of God is like no other – bold as a lion, yet gentle. Strong as a warrior, a protector of people. This man of God has a heart for Jesus that just overflows with love, and he serves with reckless abandon. He is a big brother to every woman on this squad, and a role model for the amazing men of this squad. He knows what it means to speak truth in love and we are in need of some Sarah/Lucas Squad Leader juice as we will be going into our final 3 months!
