Hey, so I lied a little, but not intentionally. I didn’t think I would be online again before my birthday because I was supposed to be in Khwisero this week, but due to doctors orders, I was left behind in Kakamega with three other teammates. Tom and Shayna felt called to still go to Khwisero, but the rest of us felt led to stay in Kakamega. Well, by felt led, I mean, I was told, because, well you know, having a suspected case of Malaria and who knows what other stomach ailments leaves you a bit high and dry and unable to do too much in Kenya. I mean, aside from taking sketchy legit African medicine.
Anyways, back to the point of this blog, I need quite a bit of funding still to finish the Race that I have been called to. This marathon I should say. The first of eleven legs is almost done, and thanks to your generous support, I am secure for the first three legs of the race, but I need your help this next month to meet my next support deadline of $10,500 … I am still about $3,000 shy of this goal or something like that, because I am trying to do math in my head, but beside the point, the point is, I need you to please pray about helping me finish this trip! SO for my for real birthday on SEPTEMBER 9TH or anytime between now and then and before I have to turn in my information to my support coach on September 12th, would you pray about gifting me with financial support for my trip? You can just send me a nice little message saying how much you are able to give and you can click under my picture on the left to see how to donate. Or if you would like to be a monthly donor as a gift to me you can do that too, just let me know how much you can give and for how many months in a nice little message, which you can also send from one of the links under my picture on the left. There’s alot you can do from the links under my picture on the left, *hint hint* …
So for my birthday I would love your support whether financial, and/or through messages in my e-mail or through my facebook … I really do love hearing from y’all back home! Because for real, I may not be back on the internet before I get to Uganda and it’s pretty much my for REAL 24th birthday!
Missing everyone.
