Okay so… Finances have been on my mind alot recently, as you can tell, two blogs in a row. Especially with the recent e-mail from the August 2011 Support Coach posing the challenge to find 10 people to be monthly donors by the end of December. Let’s be honest, first response I had, not happening… “I can’t do it.”

Okay stay with me here! This is the happy finance blog (that’s an oxymoron, huh?) Well after my last blog about being so freaked out I have already had three people tell me they are going to donate to my trip, in like two days! Woah, God, Thanks! So anyways back to dreaming big and my plan, well the plan God has given me regarding pledges. What would you say if I told you I have figured out a way that only requires 31 people or churches or businesses or groups or whoever to donate and my whole trip be fully funded PLUS my international insurance covered? It’s possible, I did the math … I used a calculator, we’re good! Haha!
First and foremost, if you do not feel led to give monthly, or don’t have the money to give monthly, please don’t think I still don’t appreciate any and all one time gifts because I do, your one time gift and someone else’s one time gift and someone else’s one time gift (you get the point) could add up to equal a pledge! Same for monthly gifts that aren’t in one of the below denominations, this is just my pretty tangible way of showing you one way you can give to what I need! Oh and all donations are tax deductible!
Okay so here it is the… 16 Month Pledge Campaign …
Could you be 1 of the 16 to donate $10/month for 16 months?
Could you be 1 of the 8 to donate $25/month for 16 months?
Could you be 1 of the 4 to donate $50/month for 16 months?
Could you be 1 of the 2 to donate $100/month for 16 months?
Could you be the 1 to donate $175/month for 16 months?
YOU = individual, church, business, group of people, etc …
It’s fast and easy to pledge and donate through the online payment option – just click the “Support Me” tab underneath my picture on the left. Then enter the amount (donations can be made anonymously if desired), under that you will see the “Start Date and Recurrence” box – click on “Monthly” and then enter the date for the payments to start and the date of the last payment (which would be 16 months from the start date if you’re contributing to the 16 Month Pledge Campaign).
For Example:
December 2010 – March 2012
January 2011 – April 2012
February 2011 – May 2012
March 2011 – June 2012
April 2011 – July 2012
