No, seriously, I have been teaching five year olds at Vacation Bible School this past week, and they are pretty cool kids … and two of them even had mohawks, see:

Before I get into the more serious stuff, I just want to let everyone know that playing in lotion, may or may not be age appropriate for five year olds, but it was kind of fun:

And here are all of my cute kids from the week:
This week has been bittersweet, it is the last time that I will be working with this church and these kids for at least a year, and maybe forever. I don’t know what is after the Race, but it might look very different than what I have grown accustomed to now. This is a church that I went to since transferring to UNC-Asheville my freshman year of college, and the church that I have fallen in love with. I love the people, the children, their passion for God and missions. This is my church and I will miss the babies in Sunday School, the 5th and 6th grade boys in AWANAS, the 5 year olds in VBS, everything …
Our lives are very much like novels, one cohesive story with different chapters that we must go through to reach the conclusion. My experiences thus far at Northpoint Baptist Church have been a beautiful chapter of growth and discovery. Before Northpoint, I was a pew warmer, a Sunday morning attendee, nothing more. But now I have gotten involved in ministries, and I am really living out what I believe. Sometimes I am tempted to try and relive this chapter, but it’s time to move on to a more global chapter. A chapter filled with a new community that I love dearly and new ministry opportunities that will be even more life changing!
I still need your help to make this possible, to donate to the lives of children all over, please click here to support me financially so I can share Christ with them!
So it’s time to turn the page … It’s time to…
Live it Out, Shout it Loud, and
Show the World What Love’s About …
