My first Thanksgiving away from home was spent in The Philippines … it was definitely different being in summer like weather at the end of November, but it was such an awesome experience being with my World Race family, and World Race Alumni, Jodi Greenlee. We were able to spend Thanksgiving not only with them, but also with some Filipinos we grew close to over the past few weeks, and Jodi’s boys from New Life. It really was a day of being thankful for where God has brought us to this past year especially. Never in my life did I expect to be traveling the World for 11 months. I miss my family and my friends, but I know I am smack dab in the middle of God’s plan for my life. But since you couldn’t be with me this Thanksgiving, I made you a video. Enjoy!
