What is perspective? It is a particular attitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view. It is the true understanding of the relative importance of things; a sense of proportion.

In life it is so easy to get caught up in the current circumstances you are in; whether that is a time of joy and peace, or a time of stress and trials. What makes all the difference is your perspective. How are you viewing this situation? Are you looking at it from your own narrow point of view? Or are you looking at it through God’s eyes?

What you see is often what you believe in because that is the easy thing to do, and your beliefs dictate how you act and react in life. So what is it that you see? What is it that you have your eyes fixed upon? What is it that you believe about your current circumstances in life?

I challenge you, as well as myself, to renew your perspective and keep your eyes fixed upon The Lord. Because when you look at the trials and difficult circumstances in front of you, it all appears so overwhelming and overpowering. But when you keep your eyes fixed upon The Lord, what do you see? You will see your Father who loves you unconditionally, and who is with you in all circumstances, and will never leave you nor forsake you.

You are His beloved son/daughter. God loves you so much that He sent His only beloved Son to die on the cross in your place! The battle has already been won. The victory, health, wholeness, forgiveness, and salvation are yours in Christ Jesus! The work has been finished. All you have to do is believe in Him, accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and keep your eyes fixed upon Him. Allow Him to change your perspective in your current circumstances. See what God sees which is that the victory is yours and you are taken care of by Him.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” –John 8:32. So let’s all change our perspectives from our point of view to that of God’s truth. When we keep our eyes fixed upon The Lord, and allow Him to reveal Himself and His truth to us, we will be set free. So let’s praise Him and thank Him for setting us free! God is so good, guys!

Peace and blessings,
