Thanks for checking out my World Race blog! I suppose I should start by introducing myself for those of you who don’t know me…
My name is Jessica Timmerman. I was born and (partially) raised in The Netherlands. My family and I moved to the United States when I was 11 years old. I recently graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science.
I have been blessed with a wonderful family who loves The Lord! My mom and dad, Antoinette and Bert, along with my two younger brothers, Mark and Ruben, are the best support system I could’ve ever asked for. I don’t know what I would do without them or any of my amazing friends!!
Some random facts about me: I absolutely love to travel and go on adventures! It’s one of my favorite things to do. Coffee flows through my veins. I love art and music. I enjoy painting, singing, dancing, taking pictures, spending time with family and friends, etc. I have an adorable and sassy puppy named Joelle! She’s my favorite. I enjoy good food, great company, and love meeting new people!
I love The Lord with all of my heart, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was just 4 years old. My relationship with Him has only grown stronger over the years as I have matured. I am so grateful to have been given this wonderful opportunity to minister and share the gospel with people all over the world! I pray that God will use me to bless these people, to touch their lives, and to be a good example of Christ’s love for them.
