Sorry it's been a bit since my last blog update. My head has been just busy and it's been difficult to make time to write.
So, what's new? Well I've hit the $500 mark in donations! YEA!!! Such a big thing for me. It came at the right time as I was starting to get slightly uneasy (I know…just trust)… 🙂
I have 3 big deadlines this month: The first two fall on September 15th. I have to have my insurance purchsaed which is about $350 and then I also have to have my flight to training camp booked which is another $350ish. Then my 3rd deadline is the 28th, and it is my first big financial deadline. I must have $3,500 in my support account. Not to mention, I still need a tent and sleeping pad…
On the up note, I am very excited as God has been faithful to lead me to a church where I feel like I fit. I feel accepted for who I am. They are very discipleship focused which has always been a big thing to me. I start a discipleship class this week and I never thought I could be so excited. It's a new season and I know that this is going to be excellent.
I will try to write another blog within the next day or so. God has been so faithful to me and though there are times of testing, my relationship with Him has only gotten stronger and the ties to this world are slowly fading as my focus becomes more sharpened and refined.
I can honestly say, I am never going back. This is a new season…and since I've made the step in, there is no turning back.
