Some updates from Romania so far………
Today we have been in Romania for 10 days. The first four days we were in Bucharesti for a debrief to discuss all things from month one. We then moved all our things to Draganesti (pronounced like dragonescht) and will be here the rest of the month for ministry.
Our ministry this month is working with Hope Church. Hope Church exists to impact people with the hope of Jesus from Draganesti all the way to the ends of the earth. They desire to fulfill the spiritual and physical needs of the people according to the teaching and practice of Jesus in Matthew 9:35-38…
Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
There are many areas of work in the ministry of Hope Church. Some of these include an after school program for the local children, implementing 25 kids clubs in the next five years in and around Draganesti, helping families earn a sustainable income, reaching the people of Romania through social media, and regional and international outreach programs among many others. Each team is working in a different area of ministry, and this month our ministry will be working with the RED Ministries.
The RED Ministries is a project that is expanding into a neighbouring county called Dolj county. Here we will be working in the city of Craiova, one of the largest cities in the region. There are a large amount of college students here and many areas that are lacking the presence of the Church.
Hope Church sees this area as a place to expand their ministries and bring a positive attitude as well as sharing and demonstrating the love of Jesus. They hope to reach young students through an English club, college ministry, and street evangelism with the goal of moving towards bible studies and home churches.
Their goal is to have a team based in Craiova to work actively in these tasks and bringing the Kingdom to this city. There are currently four representatives who are part of a team that will eventually be based here. Hope church is looking for at least 6 more people/couples to become part of this team as well as prayer and financial partners.
As part of RED ministry this month we will be visiting Craiova (about an hour away from where we are now) seeking out these people, actively engaging in street ministry, prayer walks, and seeking God’s heart for the people there.
Hope Church has prayed many bold prayers while walking daily with the Holy Spirit to follow God’s will for Romania, and our team is more than excited to be partnering with them this month for ministry!!!

* Pray for Hope Church to find the right ministry partners and financial partners. Pray for the head pastor Raul; he will be in America this month fundraising for Hope Church Ministries. And pray for an executive office assistant and an intercessor for the ministries.
*For the people of Draganesti to have open hearts and minds.
*For the spiritual darkness in this country to be demolished.
*For our team to have divine meetings that find the needed people for the RED Ministries.
*For our squad, that we would be a lighthouse here and spiritual attacks on our bodies and minds would be non-existent.
