As I type this…I have whiskers painted on my face and many people staring at me in this little internet café J tonight we headed back into the village where we spent most of the day. It was maybe a mile from our home, and my favorite drive because we pass fields and fields of banana trees. And these are no ordinary bananas. They are massive!!

So earlier we took some time to prayer walk down the street and then ministered in homes. Not long after we got there, Kim and I found ourselves being watched by many little girls. Within a couple minutes, they were sitting on our laps, climbing on our heads, and pulling us every which way. The rest of our group continued on into the homes while we played with the kids. A little bit of ring around the rosie, London bridges falling down, piggy back rides, and dum dum suckers. J

We needed to head back to the church for a 3:00 lunch, so after pulling them out of the truck, we promised we would be back later with a surprise. We borrowed some face paint from the church and headed out. The guys had invited some of the older kids and men to play a little “football” so they jumped right into their game. The four of us sat on the curb and instantly had 50 kids around us. Even mothers were bringing out their little babies to have their face painted. J It was such an awesome night and before we left, one of the guys ministered to the many people who were around! Each person was so polite and respectful that we didn’t fully understand everything they were saying… so maybe they wanted sponge bob painted on their face but got a heart instead?…it worked out well J

I have also had my first experience with bucket showers J and its only the beginning!! Hehe.

Hope all is well back home! Keep on loving…

xoxo
