we made it!

we have been in bosnia for a few days and had a great reunion with the rest of the teams!  it has been a great time of worship and also just a time of debrief about the country.  there are so many people who are still so scarred with the aftermath of the war, and we needed to become more sensitive to exactly what went on around here.  so, we are currently in mostar, but will be leaving early in the morning to set up for the summer camp.  the blue and red team will remain staying in the Bible college where we currently are, and my team along with the two south african teams will head into the mountains.  our goal for the next ten days is to get everything set up for the summer camp that will be starting july 1st.  we will be building the showers, toilets…putting in electricity, building tables and chairs for the kids to hang out.  pretty much anything you find at camp.  so, we have quite the project ahead of us…but looking forward to it all!

on july 1st, we will be heading to another city, i think called touslaw, to work in an inner city camp.  we will be meeting up with the pastor of the church and serving there however we can.

so for the next 10 days, we will not have access to blog, but i will update you with pictures and great stories i’m sure as soon as we get into the city!

thanks for all your prayers and support!  i love you guys! 🙂

this picture is from a little worship time we had on the roof.  we learned a crazy dance/song in India and were singing it in honor of the precious little ones still in India.

we also celebrated clara’s birthday at the lake 🙂  in honor of her, we all jumped in the FREEZING cold river.  i think it was like 30 degrees.  so so cold!
