I look at certain people and see how they truly walk in obedience to You, in the Spirit. It’s like, what’s their secret? I know that it’s depth with You. I want that. How do I get that, Father? I sometimes feel that my walk/relationship with You is shallow compared with theirs. I know I can’t walk in shame and comparison, Father. I know that that’s a lie from the enemy. You love me. You speak to me. I’m seeking You. I’m growing. We’re all at different places in our walks with You.

I want more of You, Holy Spirit. Depth. Take me deeper, Father. Deeper always. There’s always more.
I wanna stop playing the shallow end of the ocean near the shore. It’s my comfort zone. I feel safe here. But what if I get too far out and can’t see the shore anymore? What if I can’t get back?
But isn’t that what I want? You’re right, Father. It is. I keep telling You that I don’t want to go back to the person I used to be – no turning back. I only want to move forward in faith.
It’s going to be worth it. I know it will be.
Jesus, You proved that we are worth it by Your obedience to the Father on the cross and Your love for us. You are worth it ALL.
