Pressing On…
AS most of you probably know I am now back from The World Race. It was quite the journey; that’s for sure. God showed up in ways that I’d never seen! He changed me and used me in ways that I never could’ve dreamed. This past year was largely about spreading hope to the nations and learning about my identity in the Father. I saw, learned and experienced so much. The Gospel was shared, people were healed physically and spiritually, believers were encouraged and practical needs were met literally all over the world. It was an honor and a privilege to be used by the Lord in this way, and I have memories that I’ll treasure for a lifetime.
I can say this with certainty: I will never be the same. God ‘s heart is deeper and wider than I ever could’ve imagined. I feel that I’ve gotten a glimpse of His heart, a mere peek into the life that He’s calling me to live. Many of you came along with me this past year through my blog, Facebook and some of you were even were a part of my squad. You know what happened and may be wondering what’s happening next. Well, I’d love to invite you to be a part of this next leg of the race!
I strongly feel that the next step for me is to solidify the truths that I’ve learned this past year and put them practically into action in my every day life. In direct connection with that, I desire to be spurring others on to live fully for the Lord. I have an opportunity to do both of these things in Gainesville, GA through Adventures in Missions., and my heart is to take full advantage of it. I will be participating in a program called Center for Global Action (CGA). I am committing to this program for 6 months with the possibility of joining AIM full time after this training is finished. It will be an opportunity to be discipled in community-living while getting practical hands-on experience in a variety of departments at AIM. My plan is to move to Gainesville in mid-October to volunteer at AIM and get plugged into the community until CGA begins at the beginning of December. I need to start raising support right away and am looking for people to partner with me on a monthly basis to see this dream come to fruition. If 12 people will commit to giving $50 a month I will have the minimum I need to get started. Signing up to be a monthly donor is super easy.
