At the beginning of this month our squad had our 8 month debrief.  How crazy is that?!  8 MONTHS!  It was a sweet time of worship, sessions and hanging out with the entire squad as well as coming into our next country, Cambodia.

Last month teams were all mixed up to compensate for “manistry” month.  I had the opportunity to lead a team of incredible women that month in Thailand and had no idea what things would look like next.

It turns out that more changes were in store for our squad.  A few teams stayed mostly the same, but others were a big combination of people.  Several of our old team leaders were released from leading to go into more of a season of rest and new leaders were raised up.  I was one of the ones asked to lead for the last part of this crazy Race.  With peace from Jesus, I accepted while being a bit nervous but excited for the challenge and opportunity.

The next big surprise came when they gave me the names of my new teammates.  I was now on a team with 2 men!  After being with all women for the past 5 months I was a little hesitant and intimidated to be back with the males.  I’d become quite comfortable in my little all women’s world.  With only 8 guys on our squad I’d just come to the conclusion that I’d most likely be on an all women’s team for the remainder of the Race.

God had some amazing things in store though.

Check out who I get to hang out with for the final 3!

Daniela Romo is a strong, beautiful woman of God that I’ve had the privilege of being on a team with for 4 months already, and our teams were paired together 2 out of the first 3 months of the Race.  She speaks truth boldly and loves people fiercely.  I love that I get to finish this out by her side!

Elizabeth Nettleton is a fellow Mississippian from Tupelo!  She has a such a gentle spirit with a great big heart to match it.  She’s knows truth and shines Jesus.  Up until now we haven’t been together on Race so it’ll be good to get to spend some time with her!

Kyle Markel is a solid man of God who knows how to love and lead well.  Our teams were paired together month 2 in Moldova, and I’m looking forward to learning more from him and just hanging out for the rest of Race!

Vanessa Butler is a stunning woman who worships the Lord with such passion.  Her bright smile and restful nature draw you into God’s presence as soon as you meet her.  I’m pumped to be able to live and minister alongside of her for the fist time on the Race!

Emily Harr is a woman who’s sweet but will surprise you with her passion and humor!  God has definitely gifted her with encouraging others and listening well.  This is my first time to be with her as well so I’ll have fun getting to know her these next couple of months!

Jake Murphy is one amazing man!  His knowledge of the Word and abundant love for God’s people will blow you away.  I got to work with him month 2 in Moldova and am super excited to be able to finish this Race out with him!

There ya have it folks.  That’s our team. (We’re still working on a team name.) I’m blessed to have the honor and privilege of leading alongside these brothers and sisters.  I encourage you to click on their names and follow their blogs!  Please join with us and pray for us as run this last part of this Race together.  Your’ prayers are powerful and effective, and we couldn’t be out here without you!

Please pray for unity among our team.  Pray that we will sharpen one another and spur one another on towards Christ.  Pray that we will truly love each other the way that Christ calls us too.  Pray that He will give us strength and endurance to finish STRONG.

Pray that everywhere our feet go we will bring God’s kingdom to this earth.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
