I haven’t checked in with everyone in a while so I wanted to give you
a quick update on how life’s going in India.

We sweat…A lot.

There’s nothing like that natural shimmer on your skin at nearly all
times of the day.

I’m getting to see the women on my team step more and more into
leadership and use the gifts that the Lord’s given them.

We’re taking turns facilitating feedback and leading team time, and
it’s just been so great to see how each individual leads.

We’ve had cards and cookies, art and prayer, games and everything in
between.

It’s wonderful!

We’ve been doing a variety of ministry.

We’ve been working on a huge sewing project on and off since we’ve
been here.

The ministry is moving into new homes, and we’re helping clean and
get things ready for the big move.

We will be painting and creating different themed rooms in these new
buildings which we’re totally pumped about!

We’ve also had opportunities to go to the orphanages and spend time
with the kids. Precious time that won’t be forgotten caring for the
least of these in India.

Tonight my team will be going into one of the villages to share the
gospel.

I’m so excited about this! I can’t wait to see what the Lord’s going
to do.

Please be in prayer for us for that.

It’s a very new experience for most, if not all of the women on this
trip.

For the 4th of July yesterday the staff for the ministry
that we work with threw us a celebration.

They brought us ice cream and invited all of the American and
international volunteers and had a beautiful fireworks show.

I almost cried.

I haven’t really celebrated the 4th of July the past 2
years (Training Camp for the WR and then month 11 of the Race in
Malaysia).

We had a blast and felt very honored by our Indian brothers and
sisters.

Overall, things are great.

God is moving.

We are growing.

We are making memories.

We are being filled with His joy and spreading that to the nation of
India.

He is being glorified.

Pray for us as we only have 2 more full weeks of ministry left.

We want to stay strong until the end and not waste a moment!

But
I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me.
