~ This is a little note I wrote as I was on the plane leaving Georgia. ~
Goodbye
Atlanta.
Farewell
America!
On to
Dubai and then India!
Goodbye to
life as I know it.
I won’t be
returning to you the same, America.
You will
find me changed upon my return.
But don’t
worry.
It’s all
for the better.
I will be
richer for having spent time away.
I will be
stronger and more myself by the time this trip is through.
Just wait
and see.
My eyes
will be opened wider and my ears more tuned to His voice.
My voice
will be quieter allowing His to be heard instead.
I believe
in Him with my whole my heart.
He is
captivating me more and more every moment.
My heart
is no longer my own.
He has
completely stolen it.
There’s no
turning back, and of this I am glad because I do not want to return
to what I once was.
I am
finally free and truly alive because of Him.
Oh what a
Love!
I never
knew this could exist!
My heart
will sing Your praises.
From my
lips will pour thanksgiving.
You have
filled this fragile heart with true Hope.
To You
belongs all the praise and honor and glory forever.
Amen.
“But Jesus replied, ‘No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.’ “
Luke 9:62
