Hello!
I'll just give a short little bio.
I am 24 years old. I grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I am blessed to have been raised in a Christian home with 2 parents who love the Lord. I also have 3 fabulous little sisters! My home church is wonderful, and I love all of the people there!
In the 6th grade I became a new creation in Chirst and life has never been the same!
I went to private school up until 7th grade, and then my parents decided it would be best to homeschool me and my sisters. This was quite a switch, but I'm so glad they did! After high-school I went to a local community college and received my Associates Degree in Business Technology. I then worked for about a year as a Human Resource Assistant in my home town.
Shortly after I turned 22 I headed west out to Colorado to work at Camp Redcloud as a camp counselor "just for the summer" and ended up staying out there for about 2 1/2 years. It was an amazing experience! Last fall I left Colorado and went east to another small town in New York. I'm working for a wonderful family as their nanny/housekeeper and getting involved in an amazing church up here as well.
The more I get to know the Lord, the more I realize how much I have to learn. He is the only reason I can get out of bed each morning and have any kind of hope. This Christian journey is quite an adventure, and the Lord continues to break me and mold me in ways that I didn't know possible. He is teaching me more and more that He is all that I NEED in this world. He knows me inside and out…and STILL loves me…even LIKES me…so much that He continues to pursue me when I run the other way. How amazing is that?! His love is overwhelming. I pray that my life may be a fragrant offering to the One who gives me life.
This year, Lord-willing, I will be heading out with several other Believers who are seeking after the Lord to spread the Gospel and become more like Christ!
I'm looking forward to sharing the next phase of my life with you as God challenges, changes and moves in unexpected ways!
