"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds."
Hebrews 10:23-24
God cracks me up. Seriously. Please take a look at the title to my previous blog post: "Ya Just Never Know." Little did I know what He had around the corner.
In less than 24 hrs I ended up switching WR Routes. Wow! Totally unexpected. It just kind of happened. I won't go into all of the details that went into all of this but basically, there are 2 routes leaving in September. One route had way more people on it than the other route. Basically, the teams got evened out.
I'm super pumped about all of the countries that are on Route 2. India being number one on the list!
The hardest thing about switching routes is "leaving" some of my teammates that I have already devoloped relationships with…God is sovereign though. He has a good and perfect plan in all of this. It is a blessing to have devoloped these friendships already, because if I had been on Route 2 to begin with, I most likely never would have met them. I would've missed the blessing. Through the difficulty in this, the most important thing is to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and remember Who this trip is about. The Master Planner will work out all of the detail for His glory and for the good of His people.
Here's the new route! September Route 2
This whole thing has been bittersweet, but in light of the changing of countries and squadmates over the past couple of days, I think the Lord is preparing us for what's ahead: Expect the unexpected. Don't expect to understand everything. Just know that God is exactly who He says He is ALL of the time, and He is GOOD. Expect for Him to work in mysterious ways. Trust in HIM alone and rest in HIS perfect plan.
" 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the LORD. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts your thoughts.' "
Isaiah 55:8-9
Seeking after Him,
