Hi all,

We are now 6 months away from my launch and 4 months away from training camp.  The closer it gets to training camp to more excited I get and the more nervous I get.  There is so much to do.  Everything from buying gear to getting rid of all the unnecessary junk in my room to fundraising.  It is overwhelming at times to think about everything that still needs to happen.  Thankfully I still have still have time.  I wanted to take a minute to update you on a few things. 

Fundraising Update

At this point in the fundraising process I had hoped to be a little further along than I am.  However I know all the money will come in exactly when needed because we serve a faithful God who fulfills all his promises.  So far I have raised $1407 out of $16,273, which puts at 9% funded. 

I still need to raise $2663 to meet my first deadline on January 31st.  My next deadline is April 30th.  I will need to have $8140 raised at that time.  Please prayerfully consider partnering with my on this adventure.  If 25 people gave $75 dollars monthly over the next 8 months I would be fully funded by the end of my third month on the race.  I cannot do this without you.

Thank you so much to all of you who have already given in any capacity.  I know it sounds cliché but I really am so humbled by your support.  I couldn’t do this with out you.  Your generosity allows me to be obedient to what God has called me to this next season of life, will impact countless lives throughout the duration of my race, and eternally impact the Kingdom for God’s glory.

Prayer

While finical supporters are so important to this process I also need some powerful prayer warriors in my corner and lots encouragement during this preparation process and throughout my race. 

Please pray for each of the 11 countries that I will be visiting.  Pray that hearts would be open to The Gospel and hope of Jesus.  Pray against stronghold of any kind and for our ministry contacts.

Pray for my squad as we each prepare our hearts for the world race.  Pray for our hearts as we prepare to say goodbye to family, friends, and the comforts of home. 

Pray for me as continue to raise funds.  Fundraising is the most challenging thing I have ever done.  It can be overwhelming, discouraging, and humbling.  Pray that I would continue to see the Lord’s faithfulness in providing all the money I need for the race. 

I am huge believer in the power of prayer.  I have seen lives changed and the Lord’s faithfulness though it.  I thank each of you for your prayers as I prepare for this journey.  They mean so much to me.
