Some of you may have read my blog, A Heart of Worship, back in month 2 (Albania) when the lord placed worship heavily on my heart. At the time I had no idea how or what that looked like. I love worship. I love how worship leads to intercession. I love that worship always leads to praise and thanksgiving. I love that when you are truly worshipping the Father, the Creator of the universe, everything else falls away. I love that He draws near to us as we draw near to Him. I love that when we give Him permission He comes and He lavishes His love on us and He speaks directly to our hearts. I love that when you encounter the Lord and you rest in His presence you can’t leave without being effected.
Let me say this. I am not a worship leader. I have always been a little jealous and amazed of people who seemingly effortlessly usher people into the presence. Even still I love worship. This month my team’s ministry is at a school of worship. How cool is that! I get to not only serve but live in a place that is constantly full of worship. I have all the space in the world and have bee encouraged to worship and explore different ways of worshipping.
I am reminded of how intentional and purposeful God is. Nothing is an accident. It wasn’t an accident that He placed worship on my heart in Albania and now here we are in month 5 and I am at a school of worship. I’m so excited to see how He is going to use me and what He is going to show me and teach me this month about worship. I’m excited to see how the Lord is going to use worship to bring people to Him. I’m excited to see how people will encounter Jesus through worship. We have been in India almost a week and the Lord has already done so much and moved mightily. It is only just starting and it is so good
