Hi Everyone,
Happy Spring! I hope that you are enjoying the longer days and warmer weather. We are 7 weeks away from Training Camp and 3 Months away from Launch. This to me is mind blowing! It gets more and more real that I will be gone for 11 months with every passing minute. There are still lots to do in preparation.
Fundraising Update
As of today I am a little under $2000 in support. I have two very important deadlines coming up really fast. First. I need to have $3500 in my support account by May 5th. If this doesn’t happen I will not be able to go to training camp and therefore, will have to postpone my race launch. Second, I need to have $7500 in my support account buy June 17th. If this doesn’t happen I will also have to postpone my race.
If 15 people gave a one time donation of $200 in this month I would meet my goal for being able to launch in July and if 25 people gave $75 a month over the next 6 months I would be almost fully funded by the third month of my race.
I realize that asking you all to help me raise $16,273 is no small task. I also know that the Lord will provide the funds in his perfect timing. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is calling me to this. I am asking you to partner with me. I cannot do this simply by my own force of will.
If you would after reading this update take five minutes to pray and ask the Lord how you can partner with and respond immediately. No amount is too small and every amount is appreciated more than I would ever be able to show you.
As an incentive through the end of May, anyone who makes a once time donation of $200 or more will get one of my World Race t-shirts as a thank you. Also anyone who commits to making a monthly donation of $75 or more for the next 6 months will also receive one of my World Race T-shirts as a thank you. I will be ordering extra t-shirts in faith that several of you will rise up to help me meet this goal. Once you have made your donation shoot me an email ([email protected]) with your t-shirt size.

Prayer
My biggest prayer request is peace. As I get closer and closer to deadlines I begin to worry more and more about money coming in on time and about the things I still have to do to prepare. Please pray that God will give be his peace and he will increase my faith in knowing that he will provide.
Continue to pray for my teammates and for the countries will be visiting. Pray for favor and for God to do the immeasurably more in us and through as we go. Pray for out hearts to be open to all that he has for us.
Also pray for funds. It is a big part of what makes trips like this happen. The fundraising process can be stressful and discouraging at times but also extremely humbling to watch your community around you rises up and be the church and to watch how God provides.
