Since I first started raising support for this 11 month, 12 country mission called The World Race, I have had quite a few people ask me about the country of Swaziland.  I’ll admit, I had never heard of this country before applying for The World Race.  This tiny country in the southern part of Africa is about the size of New Jersey.  The country is economically impovershed and severly affected by the AIDS/HIV epidemic. As a result of this disease, an entire generation of the Swazi people has been wiped out. This means a devastating numbers of orphans and only the elderly to care for them.

Since then, God has been preparing my heart to love the people of Swaziland.  I recently came across this video from another World Racer , Brian Alonzo, who shares a bit about the country, the needs of the people and some of the ministry work that AIM and The World Race takes part in.  Check out the video and learn more about Swaziland.  (
