Hello! My name is Jessica Morice and I just want to let you know about some exciting things that are going on in my life. I currently attend Regent University and am studying to receive a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. As well as being a part-time student and a part-time worker, I am a woman of God. Lately, God has revealed to me that there is more to life than living luxuriously. God has called me to an epic life of experiencing Him; however, the question is: am I willing to say yes to the opportunity that He is offering me?
After praying about it, I decided to say yes! Yes, I want to share God’s love with the people who have never heard His name. Yes, I want them to know that Jesus died to save us. Yes, I will love them unconditionally because Christ loves us. Yes, I want God to use me to build His kingdom in every way!
To begin this journey with God, I applied to a program called the World Race gap year through the organization, Adventures in Missions. The World Race gap year is a nine-month Christian mission trip to three different countries. Through the World Race gap year, my team and I will serve in Central America, Asia, and Africa. We will partner with churches and ministries in the local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and reach out to people who have lost all hope.
I am so thankful for the opportunity that God has given me and I am confident that He will provide for me; however, one of my greatest challenges is the financial burden of this journey. I will need to raise $12,500 by August 21, 2015 to be fully funded for this trip, which will cover all of my expenses while I’m in the field. As I take this strong step of faith in trusting the Lord, please prayerfully and financially consider joining me on this journey. Any money donated will help pay for my plane tickets, training, meals, and many more things necessary for me to be able to join my team on this amazing adventure to spread God’s word. Financial support can be given in many different ways. It can be contributed as a one-time gift or as a monthly donation.
