High school, some people might say, are some of the best
years of your life. I have great memories from high school. I have some not so
great memories from high school. Overall, high school is part of my life that
I’ll never forget.

Research shows that only 6% of the entire WORLD graduates
from high school.  I’d have to say
then that graduating high school is a big deal.

Since I’ve been gone I have realized the importance of
intentional relationships. You see when I was away I college, I was excited to
be on my own. There were missed events: birthdays, football games, even
holidays, just to name a few. I continued on doing whatever it was that I was
doing. I missed out on a lot of things for selfish reasons. I realized a few
weeks ago that I was missing out on something that I would have given anything
to be there for. I cried out saying, “God, why? I missed so many things before.
Why this? I actually want to be there more than anything this time.” My heart
broke as I saw the days on the calendar getting closer to graduation day.
Knowing that I missed it by a little over 2 weeks just kind of makes it worse.
I want to be there so badly.

This morning, thanks to answered prayers on good internet, I
was able to watch my sister, Frances, and cousin, Nick, walk across the stage
of the Brunswick High School gym.  Even though I couldn’t physically be there, I feel beyond
blessed to have been able to have skype work better than it has any other day
on the Race. Thank you God for letting me be there!

I’m so excited about going home and being able to invest
time in, be intentional with, love on, serve, hold onto, sing loudly in the car
with, encourage/ be encouraged by, etc. with my sister and best friend, Frances

I love you so much Frances! I’m incredibly proud of you and so blessed to have
you as a sister!
