Today is my last day here in Mexico. Its funny because even though i have only been here three weeks it feels like home here. Ive lived in Palenque only a week and the last two weekends and then i lived arroyal Palenque for two weeks. Palenque is like your home away from homes.lt is very americanized here because a lot of backpackers come through. Theres even a grocery store which has pretty much every comfort from home. I love it here of course.

Arroyal Palenque is WAY different. Its a very small village. Its a place in desperate need of truth. Yes they love the lord but im not sure how deep that love is. I dont know if its fair for me to judge but they are missing evangelism. The church we helped out was so consumed with the holy spirit which is great dont get me wrong but missing the matthew 28:19-20 to go and make disciples. The church consisited of Marcos our contact and his family and maybe a few members of the community. Even though it was a hard week and sometimes felt unproductive i know God had us there to share Gods love to those people. He wanted us to be that light. I’m really glad God put team JOY there because it stretched us a lot even on the first month of ministry.

I have learned so much this past month about myself. God is doing some sweet things in my life and teaching me to completly rely on him. Its super cool to spend a month relying on God and his will for my life and not my own. He has spoken to me more these last few weeks then ever, its prob because i take the time to listen.

Im really excited we are leaving tomorrow for Guatamala. We will spend the next 4 days debriefing this last month and then we are going to another place in Guatamala to spend five weeks doing ministry. We will be working with people from the age of 15-25. We are also going to be working in a orphange and doing radio station stuff. Im not sure exactually what ministry is going to look like but im super excited. God has a perfect plan for my team and its fun to watch it unfold. Please be praying for us. Love you guys!
