I along with 15 other of my squad mates are spending our month of ministry in a village in Romania called Ville Tecii. Ville Tecii is a small gypsy village filled with amazing people you can’t help but love. They have become family to all of us and have taken us in as their own.

John and Tootsie Fracker are our contacts here. They have graciously opened their house up to us and nine of us girls are living in their attic of their house. It’s is our home away from home and is even equipped with a bathtub. John is an American that has devoted his life to pouring Christ love into the gypsies of this community. He married an amazing Gypsy woman named Tootsie who has became our sister and we love her so dearly. They also have a little boy named Holden who is one and a half years old. They are our new family and it has been an honor to go alongside of them in ministry.

Our ministry this month has consisted of a variety of things. We started of doing handy work around the town. We cleaned John and Tootsie yard for our Easter service we had, we hoed an elderly woman’s yard, we cleaned people rugs gypsy style in the river, and some girls painted the church. We wanted to show Christ love in a tangle way to the people here. John has also given us the freedom to do what we felt like the Lord was leading us to do. We have led a four day children’s program, a woman’s bible study and also we have visited many churches and spoke. I have also got to play soccer almost every day which I have LOVED. It has allowed me to really connect with the kids here.

One of my favorite things this month was getting to celebrate Easter here. We had a service here at the Fracker’s house. There were close to 150 people from around this area who came and celebrated the life of Jesus. Ally and Natalie were even baptized after the service. The Holy Spirit was moving. Only five people planned of getting baptized but two boys gave their lives to the Lord after they heard the message. They were baptized. I love seeing God move in this place and to be a part of Easter here was an amazing thing.

So this month of ministry has been incredible. I have once again given my heart away to a place. The gypsies are a unique group of people who have blessed us to death. So this is Amen to another amazing month of ministry and to my new family here in Ville Tecci, Romania.
